It was a successful day for our tennis teams yesterday, as the boys beat one of the Cape's top teams, Cape Tech, 3-2; and the girls defeated Mashpee, 4-1.
The boys doubles teams both won real close matches! Aiden Arneault and Chris Fink came back to win their first doubles match, 3-6, 6-3, 6-0; while Murylo Batista and Andrew Bell won two tie-breakers for a straight-sets win (7-6, 7-6, with both tie-breakers going 7-5)!
Max Young won in first singles, while Brenton Eddy and Conor DeCosta lost their singles matches.
The girls improved their record to 6-2 with a win over Mashpee. Megan Agostinelli (1) , Olivia Sequin (2) and Kate Weeks (3) all won in singles; while the first doubles team of Victoria Whipple and Nadine perry also won. Emmas Lass and Rachel Crafton lost in three sets in second doubles.
